Will Martijn Krabbé take an important TV prize for best presenter for the first time? The chance is life -size, especially now that he can count on many sympathy tips. “Do not have a tuxedo!”
Martijn Krabbé has never won a silver televizer star for best presenter and that surprises many people, since he has always been a popular TV star. Now that he is terminally ill, it could just be that he has a chance for the last time in October: does he finally know the prize after all these years?
Remarkable
Martijn is currently at the last ten remaining presenters. “It is remarkable that he never really had a big prize. He never won a TV image in 2015, but he never won the Televizier ring. With a program in 2012, The Voice, but never as the best presenter,” says Bart Ettekoven in Shownieuws.
The show connoisseur continues: “While he is always praised, also by colleagues and also before he was sick. Not only The Voice, but also those houses he did with his flair and humor.”
Tuxedo
Bart would find it deserved. “Of course it would be really great and I think it would really cause a goosebump moment. It would surprise me if he ended up in the last three. I think the whole of the Netherlands granted this prize too. We also called Martijn today, from: how would you find it?”
Martijn himself is enthusiastic. He says: “That’s great news !!! It’s a bit early to respond. I think borrowing a tuxedo that fits haha.”
A lot of humor
Bart thinks that from Martijn. “A lot of humor of course. He has arrived, so he makes a joke about that himself.”
TV authority Tina Nijkamp also believes that the price should go to Martijn. “Also because he has won few prizes in his career, but is actually the best presenter on the Dutch television of Groot Amusement. He would certainly earn the prize.”
Colleagues
Chantal Janzen would find it a nice tribute to Martijn. “It is a popularity prize because the audience votes. If you are really talking about level, or ‘the best’, then Martijn would have to win him every year. Because he is: the best.”
And Voice colleague Jamai Loman: “For me, Martijn had nominated and was allowed to win every year, interspersed with Jeroen Pauw, because in my eyes they are simply the very best in their profession. (..) His contribution to each format is larger than people often see, and that makes him the best. (…) I love him as a professional and especially as a person.”
