‘Does Marc-Marie Huijbregts have something to hide?’

Many people do not understand at all that Marc-Marie Huijbregts is so incredibly silent about the misconduct of Matthijs van Nieuwkerk. The comedian has let it be known that he does not want to “pee all over” his fellow TV colleague and has not even specifically expressed his condolences to the victims of De Wereld Draait Door.

“Did he know more?”

Shownieuws star Bart Ettekoven wonders where Marc-Marie and his ‘irritating little voice’ are now, while the men of the Nare Jongen podcast wonder whether the comedian may have known more.

That suspicion is shared by Telegraaf star reporter Jordi Versteegden. “I then think: do you have something to hide or something? Because indeed: if you always lash out at everything and everyone and don’t say anything, even anything, about Matthijs, for example: ‘How annoying for the victims’, then at a certain point I think: something is going on,” says he in Strictly Private.

Remarkable

Private boss Evert Santegoeds also finds it very strange. “It’s strange, it’s striking and actually extremely disappointing that someone who has an opinion about everything and also asserted himself early this year about the Voice scandal, which he had nothing to do with and knew nothing about, then you would should do that now.”

Apparently Marc-Marie uses double standards, says Evert. “Being consistent in life isn’t always easy. For someone who has an opinion about everything and shines his light on everything, it is quite remarkable. And that also applies to Claudia de Breij, right?”
