The FBI document that formed the basis for the search of a home belonging to former President Donald Trump has been released by order of the judge, but many passages have been censored. The Department of Justice has done so because witnesses, FBI agents or others involved could be put at risk if their identities were revealed. The judge had shown understanding, partly because those involved had already been threatened. Parts that could harm the criminal investigation have also been censored.
