Rarely seen in public Seinfeld-star Michael Richards, 76, was spotted for the first time in more than two years, writes Page Six.
The actor was photographed walking in West Hollywood, California over the weekend. Enjoying the sunny weather, Richards was dressed in a black jacket, dark jeans and boots.
Richards last appeared in public in 2024 when he arrived with Jerry Seinfeld Unfrosted– to the premiere of the film. The event was her first red carpet appearance in eight years.

Richards has remained largely out of the public eye since the 2006 incident.
At the time, the man who was also known as a comedian was performing at a comedy club in Los Angeles, when a group of men in the audience started shouting interlude comments during his performance.
The comedian got angry at the interruptions and asked the men to stop. However, the situation escalated quickly, and he started insulting the audience with racist expressions.
The incident was recorded on video, which soon spread on the Internet. The footage shows how Richards’ and the audience’s barrage of words accelerates. When one of the audience members states that the insults were unnecessary, Richards replies:
– That’s what you get when you interrupt a white man’s performance!
Eventually, the audience starts to trickle out, the comedian drops the microphone and leaves the stage.
Richards recalled the incident in his memoir published in 2024 Entrances and Exits. According to him, the comment shouted from the audience “You’re not funny” triggered the situation.
– In retrospect, I only wish I had agreed with him, Richards wrote in his work.
Richards revealed in May 2024 that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018. He underwent surgery to remove his entire prostate gland.
– It had to be brought under control quickly. If the surgery hadn’t been done, I probably would have died in about eight months, he told People magazine.
Richards said he wanted to live longer, especially for his son Ben’s because of. He also has a daughter Sophia with his ex-wife by Cathleen Lyons with.
