Valtteri Bottas flew from Europe to Australia with his spouse Tiffany Cromwell with.
Bottas shared the video from the flight. The subject identifier was the word rawdogging.
It’s a trending word. Rawdogging the idea is to do something completely “raw”. In the case of air travel, this means that the person abstains from all electronics, reading, food and drink for the duration of the flight – i.e. just flying and looking at the flight path on the screen.
Bottas’ video showed how he just sat motionless and looked at the flight rules announcement on the screen. The display showed nearly 24 hours of flight time. However, it was not clear whether Bottas actually completed the challenge or whether it was a joke.
Guardian magazine published an article on the meaning of the word last summer. The reporter reminded that rawdogging originally had a sexual meaning. In slang, it meant having sex without a condom.
Now the word buzzes in the speech of a particularly young generation, and it is used for any purpose at any time.
Bottas has launched the brand “what’s next?” (in Finnish, “what next?”).
So far, it is not known in which series and team Bottas will drive next season.
His F1 career ended, at least for now, when Sauber did not want to continue working with him.
