Berlin (AP) – FC St. Pauli complained after leaving the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup two other battered players.
Maximilian Dittgen had to be substituted in the first half with a thigh problem in the 2-1 draw at Union Berlin. An old injury has broken out again, reported coach Timo Schultz. Afeez Aremu was unable to play after the half-time break due to an adductor problem.
Schutz left open whether the duo could take part in the next game of Hamburg in the second division of football against Karlsruher SC on Saturday (1.30 p.m. / Sky). Philipp Ziereis, injured in the thigh, missed the game on Tuesday evening in Berlin. Adam Dzwigala (adductor problems) was only on the bench.
