THEhe 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival opens with an eagerly awaited return. After the tribute to Pippo Baudo and the entry of Laura Pausini, Ditonellapiaga performs at the Ariston for the first time as a soloist. The singer presents the song How annoying!a liberating anthem against daily foibles. His stage presence confirms this an ironic and confident artistic identity.
Ditonellapiaga, the mix that breaks the rules between t-shirt and couture
For her debut, Margherita Carducci chooses to break the mold of the traditional Sanremo dress code. The designer look Dsquared2 mixes everyday elements and scenographic volumes. Under a dark strapless corset a white t-shirt appears with the song title printed on the chest. The lower part is dominated by a candy pink full skirt with a long train and a red ribbon at the waist.
The accessories: bows, rubies and manicure
The details define the character of the outfit between retro nostalgia and modern accents. On the feet stand out the black pumps by Casadei with a maxi pink bow, coordinated with the total black sheer tights. The color palette is rigorous: only pink, red and black. The image is completed by Miluna jewels with rubies and a fiery red manicure specially made by Unghiedellamadonna.
The concept of irreverent maximalism in Sanremo 2026
Behind the image of Ditonellapiaga there is the work of the stylist Lorenzo Oddo. The concept chosen is that of maximalisma fusion between 50s glam and contemporary elegance. Each look is designed to be loaded with visual information. This debut marks the beginning of an aesthetic crescendo which, paradoxically, will become more minimal over the next few evenings.
From the green carpet to prime time
The stylistic coherence had already emerged during the Ariston green carpet show. On that occasion, the singer had opted for a Cruella De Vil style black and white feather coat. Between bows and graphic references, Ditonellapiaga imposes a style that rejects the classic princely aesthetic. His is a fashion that tells a story made of character and healthy provocation.
