Disturbed cancels Pinkpop: singer David Braiman sick | show

Disturbed will not perform during Pinkpop on Saturday afternoon. This has been announced by the organization. Singer David Braiman has fallen ill and ‘can’t take the stage’, can be read on the festival’s website. The Flemish band Ramkot is the replacement act.

The band was supposed to visit Pinkpop on Saturday at 4.10 pm, but is forced to cancel the performance because Braiman has fallen ill. He would suffer from ‘vocal problems’ and must rest his vocal cords for the next four days. That also means that their performance in Luxembourg will not take place next Monday. “We hope to be back as soon as possible,” the American metal band said.

Pinkpop soon appears to have found a replacement act. The Flemish band Ramkot will close the gap from 4.10 pm to 5.10 pm.

On Friday, Disturbed experienced another emotional evening during Graspop. Braiman spoke very candidly about his depression throughout the show. “Demons like depression and addictions are very real. They are disease friends, just like cancer.” The singer asked people in the audience to raise their hands if they have also struggled with depression or addiction. Thousands of hands went up in the air. Hold your hand up in the air and look around. As you can see friends, you are not alone.”
