Within a few years we will all be driving electric, the heat pump will have supplanted the oil or gas boiler and there will be even more solar panels on our roofs. But can our distribution network handle this ambitious energy transition? Not without major reinforcements, according to grid company Fluvius. That now comes with a necessary but costly ten-year plan.
