In a letter sent to Disney CEO Bob Iger, it is expressed that the decision to suspend Kimmel was “admitted to pressure from the government.” According to the shareholders, there are ‘well -founded reasons’ to assume that Disney has not fulfilled his duties ‘by inappropriate political or business considerations above the interests of the company and to set its shareholders’.
The talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! was taken off the tube last week after comments from the presenter about the murder of the conservative activist Charlie Kirk, a confidant of President Donald Trump.
Last Tuesday Kimmel made his return on television.
