Kimmel announced this to his employees on Monday. The news has not yet been officially released by The Walt Disney Company and ABC
The message can be called remarkable after Kimmel’s suspension after he made comments about the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Channel ABC canceled the program “indefinitely”. But this led to a flood of angry reactions. Hundreds of celebrities protested because the cancellation of Kimmel’s show would be an infringement of freedom of expression.
After more than a week, ABC reversed its decision. The channel said it would do this after “in-depth discussions”.
In his first show after the suspension, Kimmel said it was never his intention “to trivialize the murder of a young man.”
