Manchester City’s star player Phil Foden25, and his spouse Rebecca Cooke24, came across shocking fake news on social media about the couple’s children.
Information was shared on Facebook recently, according to which Foden and Cooke’s six-year-old son Ronnie would have died. This is not true. A couple of days later, another news was published, according to which their True-daughter would have cancer. That was a lie too.
Along with the shocking claims, artificially edited pictures of grieving parents had been shared. of The Sun magazine according to Cooke commenting on fake news on Instagram.
– We are aware of pages and accounts that share these stories. They are completely false and very disturbing. I don’t understand how people can make such things up about anyone, especially children. It’s sick, Cooke wrote.
The woman assured that the family is fine. He also asked people to report fake news if they still come across it on social media.
Foden has also adopted hard methods, because according to The Sun, the man has hired an entire army of legal experts to get the fake news and pictures removed from several social media platforms.
City’s season continues on Sunday with a home game against Bournemouth. Foden has played seven games in the Premier League this season and scored one goal.
