Dirk van Duijvenbode has won a match at the World Darts Championship for the first time in three years. The 33-year-old Dutchman won 3-2 against Belgian Andy Baetens in the first round. Afterwards the Dutchman explained his emotional outburst of joy. “You have to be selfish as a top athlete, but you are disappointed because you are letting your family down.”
