Director Ian Emes has died – Worked with Pink Floyd and Duran Duran

Director Ian Emes has died at the age of 73.

British artist and director Ian Emes, 73 have died. He has worked with, among others, Pink Floyd, Duran Duran and Paul mixed by Linda McCartney with. Emes’ cause of death has not been disclosed.

Emes became known for his experimental shooting technique and style. He has been nominated for Emmy and Oscar awards, for example.

– Ian’s eye-catching animated film from 1972 caught Richard Wright’s attention. His unforgettable animations, such as rotating clock faces Time – in the song and the heartbeat Speak To Me -song was a familiar sight at the band’s concerts for years.

The collaboration with Pink Floyd continued until the last few years. Emes made a 55-minute film band year 2019 The Endless River for the album.
