Yle’s new Sunday affairs program did not receive a positive reception from viewers.

A new one started on the Yle TV1 channel Sunday– business program. The program replaced Arto Nyberg’s legendary talk show.
Sunday the first episode discussed Donald Trump’s inauguration and the current world situation. The program was also visited by recent Venla winners Mikko and Osmo Peltola. Sunday’s first episode was hosted by presenter Anna Lehmusvesi.
The program did not receive a very positive reception from the public. Several social media commentators criticized that it is yet another “news-oriented affairs program” among others. Several commentators would like to have something lighter to watch on Sunday night and interesting interviews.
Criticism has been written, for example, on Yle Uutisten’s Facebook page.
– I listened. Now there is news for Sunday: five, six, a quarter to seven. There’s still time for one more news, maybe a quarter to eight before nine thirty. Are these needed? One commenter ponders.

– This is like watching Yle’s weekday morning show, which means it will hardly be watched in the future, the third continues.
– Disappointment! Like A-studio, war, the USA are being ground, the same faces say the same things and probably the same will continue tomorrow on morning television. Would it be time in this warlike world for positive things, interviewees and programs?
– Oh no! I miss Arto Nyberg and interesting guests from different fields and topics other than the things and guys that are in the news and current affairs programs!
– It turned out just as I feared. New program for the category “A-studio etc.” and because of this, an interesting talk show was stopped.
However, some of the commenters enjoyed the novelty program.
