Dior is celebrating the arrival of Jonathan Anderson’s Fall 2026 collection in stores with a gigantic cake. A pop-up area of the French fashion house in front of the Deji Plaza in Nanjing, China, becomes a visual paradise.
The pop-up is staged in the form of a huge, cut cake topped with an XXL strawberry and cherries, said Dior. The interior also takes up the patisserie concept with cakes made of glass and ceramics that decorate the shelves and showcase the collection. The interior decor is refined with stucco and moiré and is intended to be reminiscent of the Paris Palace of Versailles.
The sweet pop-up is open until the end of June. In addition to this spectacular retail experience, Dior also integrates its cake world into its flagships. They also adorn, among other things, the shop windows and areas of the Milan boutiques on Corso Venezia and in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
