The US outdoor outfitter Columbia Sportswear Company will have to do without Chief Digital Information Officer Skip Potter in the future.

Potter has left the company after almost four years, the parent company of the Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, Sorel and Prana brands announced on Tuesday. According to his profile on the career network LinkedIn, he was responsible for digital product management and technology across all functions across the four brands.

Potter’s successor has not yet been decided. However, Columbia Sportswear Company announced that it would begin a search for a permanent leader for its digital technology division. Until a successor is found, Jim Swanson, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will assume interim responsibility for this area.
