German menswear retailer Digel AG has appointed Gerrit Schultz as Sales Director Wholesale D/A. The 51-year-old took up his new post on December 1 and now reports directly to Group Sales Director Philippe Célény, the Nagold-based company said on Wednesday.
Schultz has been with Digel since 2014 and was responsible for Lower Saxony and northern North Rhine-Westphalia until his promotion as Area Manager.
CEO Jochen Digel explained the personnel decision. “We are very pleased to hand over this new responsibility to Gerrit Schultz. Due to his many years of experience in wholesale management, he will have a keen sense of sales opportunities and sustainable distribution decisions,” he said in a statement.
