Diesel’s creative director Glenn Martens has worked with Karol G on a capsule collection inspired by her latest album.

The collection is designed to embody the Colombian musician’s bold, versatile and trend-setting personal style, Diesel said on Wednesday. Inspiration for the collaboration comes from their new album “Tropicoqueta”, which was released in June, and the graphics used. Lotus flower and coconut prints play just as important a role in the collection as the color orange.

This results in a capsule that ranges from an orange metallic bikini to a floral print T-shirt to a gray denim biker jacket. Accessories such as peaked caps, sunglasses and a Double D bag designed by the singer complete the collection.

“This collection with Diesel is really close to my heart,” said Karol G. “For me, Diesel represents everything Tropicoqueta is about: freedom, self-expression and stepping out of your comfort zone. I’ve loved the brand for a long time, so it felt like the perfect time to join them in bringing the world of Tropicoqueta into the fashion world.”

Diesel’s collaboration with Karol G will be available from October 29th in selected Diesel stores and online shops as well as selected retailers.
