Behind the bar near the Padelbaan, Diëgo pours a cup of coffee for Martijn. The men were brought together by volunteer coordinator Machteld Tiessens from care organization Odion. “I really like to see how well they are doing together,” she proudly tells the bar.
The care organization needs more volunteers who can help transport children and adults with a disability. “We still need 20 to 30 voluntary drivers to bring people with disabilities to work, family or a doctor’s appointment,” says Machteld.
