The 25-year-old De Groot was the best in the last eight grand slam tournaments in a row and already has a total of sixteen titles at the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open. Last year she also became Olympic champion in Tokyo.
Kamiji (28) is the number two in the world. The Japanese lost 6-4 and 6-2 to De Groot in the Wimbledon final, but has already won eight grand slam titles in the past.
