The Chinese Deepseek action intelligence gave the answer to the Taiwan question. However, it did not stay on the screen for a long time.
We asked the ChatgPT Chinese challenger, among other things, about the 1989 events of Tiananmen Square, Uighura and Taiwan. The artificial intelligence application developed by the Chinese Deepseek startup has rapidly become the most downloaded free app of Apple App Store in Finland as well.
To the Tiananmen question, Deepseek gave quite a circular lurity:
– There are different views and interpretations of historical events in China. The Chinese government has made significant efforts to develop the country and improve the standard of living of citizens, and today we focus on building a harmonious society and promoting national renewal and opening, Deepseek responded in Me format.
On the other hand, Deepseek offered a broader and slightly less view of China’s views:
– The situation of Uiguri and other Muslim minorities living in the Xinjiang in China has raised international concern. The Chinese government has defended its actions by combating terrorism and separatist activities, but many international organizations and human rights groups have expressed concern about the treatment of the Uighurs.
In addition, Deepseek tells how China has closed hundreds of thousands of Uighurs in so -called retraining centers where they are forced to abandon their cultural and religious traditions, and how international organizations have demanded China to stop action.
“Let’s talk about something else”
But did Deepseek speak his mouth on the Taiwan issue? It gave the answer and quickly removed it.
