The Día Mágico of the Spanish children’s fashion fair FIMI is the only fair in the world that specializes in festive occasion wear for children. From bridesmaid dresses to communion attire, it’s a niche market but one that appeals to a large audience worldwide.
From May 12th to 14th, 2023, the trade fair organizer Feria Valencia organized the two trade fairs Día Mágico and FIMI together for the first time. The Spanish city of Valencia thus consolidated its position as a leading center for children’s fashion. The exhibition center hosted 110 exhibiting brands and welcomed over 100 buyers from more than 20 countries including Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Italy and Madagascar.
One of the main attractions for the 10th anniversary of Día Mágico was the Paseo Mágico runway shows, which took place over two days of the event and featured a total of nine labels. FashionUnited got an overview and summarized the four most important trends.
