Daniel Rebmann from the handball Bundesliga club Frisch Auf Göppingen joins newly promoted VfL Gummersbach in the summer. As the clubs announced on Friday, the 28-year-old goalkeeper will receive a two-year contract.
Rebmann, who took part in the European Championships with the German national team last January, switched to the Göppingen youth team in 2012.
“I wanted to take the next step in my career and get to know another club where I can develop further, prove myself and then also have to assert myself in sport,” said the four-time national player, explaining his decision.
