Antonio Rudiger will wear the Real Madrid jersey in the future. This was announced by the Champions League winner on Thursday afternoon. The DFB international joins the “Royal” on a free transfer after he was unable to agree with Chelsea FC on a contract extension beyond the summer of 2022.
The 29-year-old central defender has signed a four-year contract with Real. According to the club’s announcement, the native of Berlin, who once made the leap into professional football at VfB Stuttgart, will be officially presented at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on June 20th.
