The German U21s, like the senior national team, got back on track with a victory in Northern Ireland. DFB coach Antonio Di Salvo’s team won 2-1 (0-1) in Belfast after a late brace and, with a bit of luck, redeemed themselves for the surprising home defeat against Greece four days earlier.
