DFB: German U16 wins UEFA development tournament in Portugal

Germany U16 won the UEFA development tournament in Portugal. After victories against France and hosts Portugal, the DFB selection was also successful against the Netherlands on Monday and celebrated a late 2-1. Oranje took an early lead thanks to Sami Bouhoudane (5th penalty) before Noah Weißbach turned the game around in the 89th minute and Ken Izekor in added time.

Germany finished top of their group with eight points, while France and Portugal tied for second place. The Netherlands, meanwhile, remained without a point. “The UEFA development tournament in Portugal was a really good test against three strong opponents.
