The games in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup run until February 8th. The fans will have to wait for the draw for the next round.
The lots will be drawn on February 19 (5:10 p.m. / ZDF). This means that the draw will only take place eleven days after the last round of 16 game.
The draw is made from just one pot, and there is no amateur club that would be entitled to automatic home rights.

- 1. FSV Mainz 05 – Bayern Munich
- SV Sandhausen – SC Freiburg

- VfL Bochum – Borussia Dortmund
Final in Berlin in June
After the draw, the teams still need two wins before the final in Berlin. The quarterfinals will take place in early April.
