DFB Cup quarter-finals: no derby HSV – St. Pauli, RB Leipzig at Hannover 96

On March 1st and 2nd

The quarter-finals of the DFB Cup were drawn in Dortmund on Sunday evening. Neither FC Bayern nor Borussia Dortmund are represented in the top eight teams, each with four teams in the first and second division. Union Berlin faces FC St. Pauli, HSV meets Karlsruher SC. Hannover 96 welcomes RB Leipzig, VfL Bochum SC Freiburg.

As the most valuable remaining team, RB Leipzig (squad value: 457.5 million euros) is fighting for the first title in the club’s history. The quarter-finals will be held on March 1st and 2nd. The subsequent semi-finals will take place on April 19th and 20th, and the cup winner will be determined on May 21st in the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
