Stuttgart is making the most of it, Bayern has to do without Neuer – who will win the trophy in the Berlin Olympic Stadium?
FC Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart meet this evening (8 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online) in the final of the DFB Cup. For the German record champions, after the championship in the Bundesliga, it’s about the double, for Stuttgart it’s about defending their title.
The Munich team are in the final for the 25th time and, after three wins in the previous season duels, are the favorites going into the game in the Berlin Olympic Stadium. They will have to do without national goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who is out due to a calf injury. The captain, whose participation in the World Cup is not in danger, is represented by Jonas Urbig.

DFB Cup final: Stuttgart’s line-up surprises against Bayern
At VfB, Alexander Nübel is in goal in what may be his last game for the Swabians. Overall, Hoeneß is making a change to his starting eleven compared to the last league game against Eintracht Frankfurt (2:2). Captain Atakan Karazor, as with his red card suspension in the league, is replaced by Chema Andrés, who starts alongside Angelo Stiller.
Ramon Hendriks, Jeff Chabot and Luca Jaquez, who is new to the team, form the defensive back three, while Maximilian Mittelstädt and Jamie Leweling start on the wings. Deniz Undav, Ermedin Demirovic and Chris Führich start on offense.
