Officent player Serge Gnabry from FC Bayern apparently returns to the squad of the German national football team for the final four of the Nations League. Other DFB staff are also leaked.

“Bild” reports on Serge Gnabry’s comeback, “Sky” also confirms the information.

In the FC Bayern jersey, his achievements have been fluctuating for a long time. For the duels in the National League quarter-finals against Italy recently, national coach Julian Nagelsmann therefore refrained from calling the 29-year-old. In the past week, however, the shape curve at Gnabry pointed up, which Nagelsmann seems to be rewarded with the cadre nomination.

According to the report, Niclas Füllkrug also waves a return to the district of the DFB team.

The 32-year-old has been going through a difficult time since he switched from Borussia Dortmund to West Ham United last summer and also had to struggle with injury problems.

Because of the failures of Kai Havertz (thigh injury) and Tim Kleindienst (knee surgery), Füllkrug apparently still waves an appointment.

More DFB returnees from BVB and FC Bayern

Citing club circles, “Sky” also reports the DFB nomination of Bayer Leverkusen’s midfielder Robert Andrich. The 30-year-old is no longer an undisputed regular player at Werkelf. Nagelsmann seems to continue to sit on him.

Also in the German National League squad, Nick Woltemade (VfB Stuttgart) should be standing for the first time, several media reported on Tuesday.

It would not be really surprising that the goalkeeper is a calling: the 23-year-old has 16 goals and three templates in 32 competitive games for VfB in 2024/25.

According to reports, other DFB returnees are BVB defenders Waldemar Anton and Youngster Aleksandar Pavlovic from FC Bayern.
