BELTRUM – A train crashed into a trailer on Nijkampsweg in Beltrum on Saturday evening. No one was injured, but the damage is extensive.
A group of boys tried to move a garden house with a tractor and trailer. However, at the track the house turned out to be too wide. The group tried to get the whole thing off the track when the train arrived, but they were unsuccessful.
The house was broken into pieces by the collision. The wooden parts were left behind on and next to the track. The train was also damaged, as were two power boxes next to the track. No one was injured in the collision. There were ten passengers on the train. Train traffic has been suspended for the time being.
