To celebrate the 50th anniversary, Rory Gallagher’s 1971 record “Deuce” will be re-released as a box set. The collection includes unreleased songs, a BBC radio recording and essays. “Deuce” will be released on September 30th.
The anniversary release will be available in the following versions: 4-CD deluxe box, 2-CD set, 3-LP version and in digital formats. Deuce will be available online in Deluxe Digital HD and Deluxe Digital Standard. The collection can already here be pre-ordered.
Foreword by Johnny Marr
“Deuce” also includes 28 previously unreleased tracks, a BBC Radio recording “In Concert” from 1972 and seven Radio Bremen sessions. Also included is a 64-page hardback book with a foreword by The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, unpublished photos, essays and memorabilia from the album’s recordings.
The 2 CD and 3 LP editions differ slightly and present abridged versions of the deluxe box set.
