The American superstar closed the series of 32 stadium concerts in the US and Europe on Saturday at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The show was the final chord of the Cowboy Cartertour.

The public hit complete hysteria when Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams entered the stage to play a series of nostalgic hits together with Beyoncé. The trio, known for years as Destiny’s Child, sang classics such as Bootylicious (2001) and Lose My Breath (2005).

‘Still can’t believe it’

Destiny’s Child is one of the most successful female music groups of all time, with more than 60 million records and hitsongs sold worldwide Say My Name and Survivor. Founded in 1997, the heyday was between 2000 and 2005.

On June 13, 2005, halfway through their last tour, the members of the R&B and POP group announced that they were separating. Not because of a fight, but because they wanted to focus on a solo career.

“I still can’t believe I have seen this with my own eyes,” a fan said afterwards USA Today. “We just saw Beyoncé’s past, present and future coming together on that stage.”

Private Serenade

It was the first full joint performance of the three girlfriends in twelve years. Their last full show together took place during the Super Bowl Half -Time Show in New Orleans in 2013. In 2018 they also gave the present at Beyoncé’s performance on Coachella.

At the beginning of 2024, Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, widened further on the reunion decorations by revealing that she got a private Serenade from Destiny’s Child for her birthday.
