Despite infamous blockage by container ship Ever Given: record turnover for Suez Canal

The Suez Canal will have a turnover of approximately 5.5 billion euros in 2021. This has been announced by the manager of the canal, the Suez Canal Authority (SCA). It is the best result ever, despite the striking blockage of the canal in March by the gigantic container ship named ‘Ever Given’.
