AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson drop out
Amsterdam – Pfizer, BioNTech and Moderna, which earn very well from their corona vaccines, are generating quite a bit of social resistance. Yet they are virtually the only pharmaceutical companies that will benefit financially from the pandemic. The many millions invested in the development of vaccines did not always come to fruition. For example, the vaccines from Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca even got sidetracked despite the approval. Nevertheless, the sector as a whole has also improved in a certain sense, because thanks to corona some developments have accelerated.
