Designer Melody Ehsani creates Beats headphones

A limited edition Powerbeats Pro by Beats in collaboration with fashion designer Melody Ehsani will be released on Friday (November 11). The Los Angeles-born designer has worked with companies such as Nike and Reebok and also designed the merchandise for Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ album UNLIMITED LOVE. The bassist of the band Flea and Ehsani have been married since 2019 and have one child together.

“Music is an integral part of my life and has inspired my designs and inner work. I’m honored to give the world a new outlet for creativity and self-expression with this collaboration,” says Melody Ehsani about the new in-ear headphones.

The design is known from various announcements on the Ehsani and Beats Electronics social media channels. The two headphones each have different colors: the left one comes in navy blue with a yellow accent and green lettering, while the right one comes in an orange-red with a pink accent and orange lettering. The text: “If you can read this, you’re too close”, which is written on the headphones, also comes from Ehsani. Visually, the text should be the designer’s handwriting, as should the eye that adorns the “Powerbeats Pro”.

The headphones can be purchased from November 11th her side can also be ordered to Germany. It is unclear how long the limited version will be available and how much it will cost. The “Powerbeats Pro” currently cost 299.95 euros on the official Beats website. It can therefore be assumed that the headphones in the limited design will be even more expensive. It is unclear to what extent the current “Powerbeats Pro” will change technically.

Most recently, Beats brought out an in-ear headphone in cooperation with Kim Kardashian. Beats Electronics, also known as Beats by Dre, was bought by Apple in 2014.
