Businessmen Oleg Deripaska and David Yakobashvili left the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, two RBC sources confirm this. One of the interlocutors specified that Boos and Oseevsky would be included in the bureau of the board. The official announcement of the RSPP about the new composition of the Board of Directors is expected on April 13. The press service of the RBC union stated that they had no information about the departure of Yakobashvili and Deripaska.
An interlocutor of RBC, close to the RSPP, said that the president of the IIC BL GROUP, Georgy Boos, and the president of Rostelecom, Mikhail Oseevsky, were elected instead of them in the bureau of the board. Both of them are members of the board of the business association.
RBC sent requests to Yakobashvili and Deripaska’s representative.
RSPP asked to limit the rights of foreign shareholders
The Board is the general governing body of the union. The Bureau of the Board carries out operational management of the activities of the Union and reports to the Board on its actions. Its membership has not been published on the union’s website.
