Derby van Wijdemeren between Nederhorst and SV s’-Graveland: “Match is alive”

The Wijdemeren derby was on the program for the first time since 2019. Last Saturday Nederhorst and SV s’-Graveland played against each other. “As soon as the competition is known, circle this match,” said Nederhorst captain Job van Wijk.

“The two villages are about five kilometers apart. Then you notice that it is very lively,” says SV ‘s-Graveland player Twan Roorda.

The full package

In Nederhorst it was a match with all the trimmings. Fireworks, goals and one red card. In the end, the visitors from ‘s-Graveland won 4-2. “You want to have a nice day. If you lose 4-2 to the biggest competitor, it hurts,” said a disappointed Van Wijk.

“Despite the red card. Then still win the game with 4-2. I’m really proud of those guys”, were the words of the proud goalscorer Roorda afterwards.

Red carpet

Where in professional football the changing room is prohibited for the camera, it was no problem at all to make recordings during the match in the fourth division on Saturday. That resulted in a smooth report.
