So far, Mourinho did not comment on the allegations. The coach had said at the press conference on Monday evening that the opposing bank had “jumped up” like monkeys after a controversial situation.

It was about a scene at the beginning of the game. After 20 seconds, Galatasaray would have called for a yellow card for Yusuf Akcicek, a “18 year old boy”. Mourinho was convinced that a Turkish referee would also have given the yellow card. Then he should have replaced Akcicek (actually turning 19 at the end of January) after five minutes.

Referee from Slovenia

Among other things, the duel with Galatasaray had repeatedly directed a foreign referee on Mourinhos. A good decision for the 62 -year -old Starcoach: “I think he is responsible for the big game we played,” he praised the Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic. This delivered a “top performance”.

Mourinho provokes Galatasaray

He said that Vincic after the game in the cabin. He also accused the fourth official, a Turkish referee, that it had become “a disaster” if he had whistled the game.

Mourinho asked Galatasaray to request a foreign referee as a sign of true strength for each game. The derby as well as the Europa League showed that “gala” had problems when foreign referees whistled.

On Monday, the rival from the European part of Istanbul recorded only one shot on the goal, and he left the Europa League without a sound.

Galatasaray failed after a 1: 4 and 2: 2 against the Dutch club AZ Alkmaar in the playoffs of the Europa League. Fenerbahce, located in the Asian part of Istanbul, reaches the round of 16 by a 3: 0 and 2: 2 against the RSC Anderlecht from Belgium.

“Constantly derogatory statements”

The Portuguese start coach Mourinho had repeatedly criticized football in Turkey in the past. He not only accused the referees of a lack of professionalism, and the Turkish league would be much more unattractive compared to other top international leagues.

“Since the beginning of his coaching in Turkey, Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho has constantly made derogatory statements about the Turkish people,” said Galatasarays statement. Mourinho has now crossed a limit that Fenerbahce should check exactly how the coach behaves.
