The evening will take place on Monday at the Carro Social Club in Sesto San Giovanni and in addition to the two players from Milan and Inter, the awards will be Federico Baschirotto of Cremonese, Mateo Pellegrino of Parma, Alberto Paleari of Torino, Roberto Trapani, head of the youth sector of Genoa CFC and Benito Carbone, coach of Milan’s Under 20 team. During the evening, the tournament will be presented, reserved for the 2013 Rookies category, which will take place from 29 March to 7 June 2026 at the Aldini sports center in Milan, and will feature 40 professional and amateur teams. Among the registered clubs, Milan, Inter, Atalanta, Como, Turin, Monza, Cremonese, Genoa and Sassolo stand out. The proceeds from the tournament will help finance “BAMBINIxLAPACE”, the Ai.Bi. project. started over four years ago, at the beginning of the war in Ukraine to provide an immediate response to the difficulties and needs of children, who have always been the most vulnerable and defenseless in the face of conflicts. Amici dei Bambini is present in Ukraine, both in the Kiev region and in the (even more difficult) Dnipro region, providing safe spaces in which to guarantee children and their families recreational activities, psychological support and distribution of basic necessities. The association is also active in Moldova, the country which, in relation to its population, has welcomed the largest number of refugees from Ukraine.
