It’s been official for a few days: Depeche Mode will release their new album MEMENTO MORI on March 24, 2023. The first single “Ghosts Again” was released on February 9, 2023. The band itself will release their new record – their first since the death of Andrew Fletcher – celebrate with a big tour. Fans can do the same at one of the concerts – or attend one of the release parties they plan themselves. There are two of them in Berlin.
On March 25, a fan event is to take place at the Waldbühne in the Villa in the Olympic Park from 9 p.m. and thus in the immediate vicinity of the Olympic Stadium, i.e. the place where Depeche Mode will play two concerts in July. There is space at the party for 199 guests, where the new album is to be presented and then “songs from 1981-2022 including side projects are taken into account”, “of course also hits, B-sides, live tracks, non-album tracks” and the “until 4 :00 or longer”.

Two weeks earlier, on March 11, the Swedish band Covenant is scheduled to perform at the Columbia Theater in Berlin. Afterwards, a big Depeche Mode event party with three DJs – Manu POP and Oren Sarig from Tel Aviv/Israel as well as resident DJ Mr. Devotee Berlin – is planned from 10 p.m. All information about this evening is also available on Facebook:
