On Friday (May 5th) Depeche Mode released Ghosts Again (Remixes). This is a collection of reinterpretations of the lead single “Ghosts Again” from the current record “Memento Mori”.
The total of eight remixes, which are mainly characterized by EDM sounds, can be heard here:
Represented are among others Massano, Chris Liebling and Luke Slater and Matthew Herbert. The latter had this to say about the release: “I really liked the idea of ’we’ll be ghosts again’… everyone disappeared from the dance floor. The idea of the temporary community being built.” Davide Rossi also contributed a version. The Italian had already recorded strings for “Memento Mori”.
Depeche Mode will be in Germany for a few concerts from May 26th.
