Depeche Mode live in Düsseldorf: tickets, weather, directions, support, set list

On their MEMENTO MORI tour, the English will be stopping in Düsseldorf on June 4th and 6th. All information is available here.

Depeche Mode are currently on tour with their album MEMENTO MORI, which was released on March 24th, 2023. The opening concert of their German shows took place in Leipzig on May 26th – the date also fell on the first anniversary of the death of their keyboardist Andy Fletcher. Next up is Düsseldorf. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore will be playing in the Merkur-Spiel Arena on Sunday, June 4th and Tuesday, June 6th. Here’s an overview of all the information about the two gigs.

tickets

If you still want to buy a ticket for one of the Düsseldorf concerts on the spur of the moment, the best way to do that is via the Band’s website. From there you can go to the seating plan, in which you can choose between standing room (between 119 and 219 euros depending on the proximity to the stage) or a seat in the ranks (139 euros to 310 euros).

The admission ticket can also be used as a ticket for local public transport. This makes it possible to use the ticket to travel to the venue and then back again.

In addition, tickets can also be booked in combination with hotels via the purchase sites offered by the DM website.

Schedule and Support

The Merkur-Spiel Arena opens for DM fans at 7 p.m.

From 7:45 p.m., the Scottish trio Young Fathers will play one of their shows as a support act, which always comes up with a mix of indie, hip-hop and socially critical statements.

Finally, at 8:45 p.m., Depeche Mode will perform. Most recently they played live for over two and a half hours.

Arrival and parking

The Merkur-Spiel Arena is well signposted in and around Düsseldorf. There are a total of 20,000 parking spaces on site, although a walk of around 20 minutes must also be planned from there. The charges for a parking space in the area can be viewed here.

Those arriving by public transport should choose the Rheinbahn line U78. The correct stop here is MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA/Messe-Nord. Since the railway is also expecting a high level of utilization in local public transport due to the crowds of fans, the frequency of running trains will be increased.

Plus: Around the arena there are enough parking spaces for bicycles and motorbikes – to be found right next to the roundabout near the Rhine.
