Depeche Mode have announced the Memento Mori world tour. It starts at the end of March and includes eight performances in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. From May 26th to July 21st there will be performances in Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Bern, Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin and Klagenfurt.
Martin Gore on the new album: “We started work on this project early in the pandemic and its themes were directly inspired by that time. After Fletch’s death we decided to continue as we’re sure that’s what he would have wanted and it really gave the project extra meaning.” Dave Gahan: “Fletch would have loved this album. We’re really looking forward to sharing it with you soon and we can’t wait to present it live at shows next year.” Memento Mori will be released in Spring 2023.
