Ostend could not win a single match in the Champions League this season. There was also the early cup elimination against Antwerp Giants and after three league defeats in a row – which was in 2018 – Greek coach Georgios Dedas had to step aside last Friday.
In the rankings of the BNXT League, Ostend is second after Antwerp Giants. The two clubs will meet for the first time in the competition on Tuesday, March 10 in Antwerp and Sunday, March 15 in Ostend. That will immediately be a big test for the new coach.
