Demir lashes out at the au pair agency of ‘Real Housewives of Antwerp’: “Proposing au pairs as cheap childcare is scandalous”

Flemish Minister of Labor Zuhal Demir (N-VA) has lashed out in the Flemish Parliament against the au pair agency of Natassia Van Kerkvoorde and Oona Noyen, known from ‘The Real Housewives of Antwerp’. Demir calls it “scandalous” that the system is promoted by them as a cheaper form of childcare. According to the minister, it is further proof that the status of au pairs urgently needs to be reformed.
