After putting an end to one of the great soap operas of this summer and of the entire season, Ousmane Dembélé is wearing the Barça shirt again. The Frenchman has been presented at the Ciutat Esportiva after signing his new contract that links him to Barça until June 30, 2024.
“It has always been my first choice to stay” explained Dembélé about his decision to continue at the club. In addition, the Frenchman has surprised by saying that Barça has been his club and his decision since he was a child, implying that for him there have been no doubts at any time about the decision
He did not want to get wet about the long wait for his decision and he just wanted to reiterate his predisposition to continue to try to get the most out of next season. “It has been very long but now everyone is happy and very excited about the new season. I want to win a lot of titles and I’m going to do my best for the club and for my teammates” has affirmed to conclude the brief act of presentation.
