A delivery van collided with a Rijkswaterstaat arrow car on the A37 near Zwartemeer this morning. The trailer was placed on the highway to alert traffic to asphalt work between Klazienaveen and the German border.
Debris is lying around the accident site, also on the other carriageway, slowing traffic on the A37. It is not clear when the clean-up will start and everyone will be able to continue driving without delay.
In addition to the driver of the van, there was another passenger in the vehicle. As far as is known, neither suffered any injuries. It is not known how the driver missed the arrow car.
