At De Klenckestraat in Assen, a delivery van burned out in the night from Sunday to Monday around 3:30 am. When firefighters arrived, the van was already on fire.
The fire was quickly brought under control, but firefighters were unable to prevent the van from being completely destroyed by the flames. In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, a car also went up in flames in the same street.
Police are investigating the car fire.
